This science-fiction writer is known primarily for his work in the legendary sci-fi series Perry Rhodan, for which he has penned exposés since 2009.
Apart from a galaxy of sci-fi novels, he has also published a Star Trek encyclopedia, and written countless articles on the weird and wonderful in specialist journals and translated hundreds of comics into German – from sophisticated graphic novels to Mickey Mouse.
So it seemed written in the stars that an encounter had to take place between one of OUBEY’s paintings and a science-fiction writer. OUBEY loved science fiction – be it novels, movies or the Perry Rhodan series which he read avidly throughout his life. So I was especially pleased when Uwe Anton agreed to embark on the adventure of a Close Encounter of A Strange Kind.
