The 30th Speyer Kulturbeutel Festival came to an end with an exciting program in the Old Town Hall. A special exhibition was also on display.

An artist dies before he can show his work to the world. Posthumously, his art travels around the world. And again and again the question: What interested and inspired this artist?

Twenty years ago, Dagmar Woyde-Köhler's life changed abruptly. She lost her husband, the artist Oubey, in a car accident on the B9. To ensure that his art lives on, Woyde-Köhler founded the “Mindkiss” project. And it inspires people from all over the world.

On the occasion of the 7th stopover of the OUBEY Global Encounter Tour on 18 December 2015 over 50 artists from Kampala and further afield came together for an experimental workshop to express the associations aroused in them when viewing OUBEYs paintings by painting themselves. Host of this happening was the Naganda Academy of Art and Design (NIAAD).

On 5 May 2015 OUBEY MINDKISS celebrated the anniversary of the project launch in the same place where, five years ago, on 23 March 2010, it took its first tentative steps in the public spotlight at the ZKM Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe.
