About The Return of Forgotten Dreams

In his latest documentary film, Werner Herzog lets dreams of our ancestors that had vanished into the depths of time for more than 30,000 years return to the public eye of our world of the twenty-first century. “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” is the title of the film about the magnificent cave paintings of Chaveau. The film opens today in Germany.

A more extensive blog entry about this was already posted on 10 July, after I was kindly invited to see the film at a screening in New York, where Werner Herzog himself was present and talked about the motivation and background for this production. Those who are interested in this blog entry, will certainly also be fascinated by “Cave of Forgotten Dreams”.
